śiṣyo'haṃ bhavatā pāṭhyaṃ karṇadhāraṃ mahāmunim | apārapāradaṃ viṣṇuṃ vipramūrtimupāśritam

Translation

ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼੍ਯ ਹਾਂ—ਹੇ ਮਹਾਮੁਨੀ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਾਠ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਓ। ਬੇਕਿਨਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਣਧਾਰ ਵਿਸ਼ਨੂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਆਸਰਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਜੋ ਇੱਥੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ-ਮੂਰਤੀ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਪਾਸਿਤ ਹੈ।
