mahāghore kālarātri ghaṃṭāli vikaṭojvale | satataṃ saptamīpūjye netrade śaraṇaṃ bhava

ਹੇ ਮਹਾ-ਭਯਾਨਕਾ, ਹੇ ਕਾਲਰਾਤ੍ਰੀ, ਹੇ ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਲਾ ਧਾਰਣ ਵਾਲੀ, ਹੇ ਵਿਕਟ ਤੇਜਸਵੀ ਜ੍ਵਾਲਾ! ਹੇ ਸਦਾ ਸਪਤਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਜਿਤ, ਹੇ ਨੇਤਰ-ਦਾਤ੍ਰੀ—ਮੇਰੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਬਣ।
