सूत उवाच । इति रुद्रवचः श्रुत्वा सहसा तं विमुच्य सः । न्यपतत्पादयोर्हा धिक्कष्टं कष्टं च प्राह सः
sūta uvāca | iti rudravacaḥ śrutvā sahasā taṃ vimucya saḥ | nyapatatpādayorhā dhikkaṣṭaṃ kaṣṭaṃ ca prāha saḥ
ਸੂਤ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ: “ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਦੇ ਇਹ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਪੈਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬੋਲਿਆ, ‘ਹਾਏ! ਧਿਕਕਾਰ ਹੈ—ਕਿੰਨਾ ਭਿਆਨਕ, ਕਿੰਨਾ ਭਿਆਨਕ!’”
