dāruṇākṣī śukladantī bhayasyāpi bhayaṃkarī | sā ruroda mahārāvaṃ prāpya tāṃ homabhūmikām

Translation

ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਸਨ, ਦੰਦ ਚਿੱਟੇ—ਡਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਡਰਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ। ਹਵਨ-ਭੂਮੀ ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮਹਾਂ ਗੱਜਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਰੋਣਾ ਕੱਢਿਆ।
