धिगहं यन्मया पूर्वं समयः स कृतोऽभवत् । न कृतोऽभूद्यदि पुरा अभविष्यदसौ पतिः

Transliteration

dhigahaṃ yanmayā pūrvaṃ samayaḥ sa kṛto'bhavat | na kṛto'bhūdyadi purā abhaviṣyadasau patiḥ

Translation

“ਧਿਕ ਹੈ ਮੈਨੂੰ, ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਹ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਕਰ ਬੈਠੀ! ਜੇ ਉਹ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ, ਤਾਂ ਇਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਤੀ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ।”
