अंगानां वर्धनादंबा वीरसूत्वे च वीरसूः । शिशोः शुश्रूषणाच्छ्वश्रूर्माता स्यान्माननात्तथा
aṃgānāṃ vardhanādaṃbā vīrasūtve ca vīrasūḥ | śiśoḥ śuśrūṣaṇācchvaśrūrmātā syānmānanāttathā
ਅੰਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਧੋਤਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹ ਅੰਬਾ ਕਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ; ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਵੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦੇਵੇ, ਉਹ ਵੀਰਸੂ ਹੈ। ਬੱਚੇ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਾਲ ਸੱਸ ਵੀ ‘ਮਾਂ’ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ; ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਰੀ ਦਾ ਮਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਮਾਤਾ-ਸਮਾਨ ਮੰਨੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
