श्रुता द्वैपायनमुखात्कथां वक्ष्यामि चात्र वः । पुरा द्रुपदराजस्य पुत्रीमासाद्य पांडवाः
śrutā dvaipāyanamukhātkathāṃ vakṣyāmi cātra vaḥ | purā drupadarājasya putrīmāsādya pāṃḍavāḥ
ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਖੁਦ ਦ੍ਵੈਪਾਯਨ (ਵਿਆਸ) ਦੇ ਮੁਖ ਤੋਂ ਸੁਣੀ ਸੀ। ਪੁਰਾਤਨ ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਂਡਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਦ੍ਰੁਪਦ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
