दृष्ट्वा मन्येत स क्षीणमात्मजीवितमाप्तवान् । नासिका वक्रतामेति कर्णयोर्न्नमनोन्नती
Transliteration
dṛṣṭvā manyeta sa kṣīṇamātmajīvitamāptavān | nāsikā vakratāmeti karṇayornnamanonnatī
Translation
ਇਹ ਸਭ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਮਝੇ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਘਟ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਜਦ ਨੱਕ ਟੇਢਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਮਾਨ ਝੁਕਾਵ ਤੇ ਉੱਠਾਵ ਆਵੇ, (ਇਹ ਜੀਵਨ-ਛੀਣ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਲੱਛਣ ਹਨ)।
