Transliteration

tvagasṛgmāṃsamityāhustrikaṃ mātṛsamudbhavam | medomajjāsthikaṃ proktaṃ pitṛjaṃ ṣaṭca kauśikam

Translation

ਚਮੜੀ, ਲਹੂ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਸ—ਇਹ ਤ੍ਰਿਕ ਮਾਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਚਰਬੀ, ਮੱਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੱਡੀ ਪਿਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਕਟ ਦੱਸੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ; ਅਤੇ ਛੇ-ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ‘ਕੌਸ਼ਿਕ’ ਸਮੂਹ ਵੀ ਇਸੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਚਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
