एको लोभो महान्ग्राहो लोभात्पापं प्रवर्तते । लोभात्क्रोधः प्रभवति लोभात्कामः प्रवर्तते
eko lobho mahāngrāho lobhātpāpaṃ pravartate | lobhātkrodhaḥ prabhavati lobhātkāmaḥ pravartate
ਲੋਭ ਇਕੱਲਾ ਹੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਗ੍ਰਾਹ ਹੈ। ਲੋਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਪ ਉੱਠਦਾ ਹੈ; ਲੋਭ ਤੋਂ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਜਨਮ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ; ਲੋਭ ਤੋਂ ਕਾਮਨਾ ਵਧਦੀ ਹੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
