ज्वालामाला सुदुर्दर्शा नारी द्वादशलोचना । सा च प्रणम्य तं प्राह तव शक्तिरहं प्रभो । शीघ्रमादिश मां कृत्ये किं करोमि तवेप्सितम्
jvālāmālā sudurdarśā nārī dvādaśalocanā | sā ca praṇamya taṃ prāha tava śaktirahaṃ prabho | śīghramādiśa māṃ kṛtye kiṃ karomi tavepsitam
ਅੱਗ ਦੀ ਮਾਲਾ ਨਾਲ ਘਿਰੀ, ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਅਤਿ ਭਿਆਨਕ, ਬਾਰਾਂ ਨੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਇਕ ਨਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ: ‘ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੋ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਹਾਂ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਜ ਲਈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੀਘ੍ਰ ਆਗਿਆ ਦਿਓ—ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮੈਂ ਕੀ ਕਰਾਂ?’
