तदप्यहो चातिकष्ट हेतुना तेन मे मतम् । अयं प्रतिग्रहो घोरो मध्वास्वादो विषोपमः

Transliteration

tadapyaho cātikaṣṭa hetunā tena me matam | ayaṃ pratigraho ghoro madhvāsvādo viṣopamaḥ

Translation

ਤਾਂ ਵੀ, ਹਾਏ, ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਕਠਿਨ ਕਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਾਰਗ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਗ੍ਰਹ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਹੈ—ਸਵਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਵਰਗਾ ਮਿੱਠਾ, ਪਰ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ ਸਮਾਨ।
