पापशीलस्य हनने दोषो यद्यपि नास्ति च । तथापि रुद्रभक्तोऽयं संस्मरन्निति शोचिमि
pāpaśīlasya hanane doṣo yadyapi nāsti ca | tathāpi rudrabhakto'yaṃ saṃsmaranniti śocimi
ਪਾਪੀ ਸੁਭਾਉ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਦੋਸ਼ ਨਾ ਵੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਮੈਂ ਵਿਲਾਪ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਯਾਦ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਦਾ ਭਗਤ ਸੀ।
