कानेमिरुवाच । नग्नेन सह को युध्येद्धतेनापि च येन वा । शंसत्सु दैत्यवीराणामुपहासः प्रजायते
kānemiruvāca | nagnena saha ko yudhyeddhatenāpi ca yena vā | śaṃsatsu daityavīrāṇāmupahāsaḥ prajāyate
ਕਾਨੇਮਿਰੁ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ: “ਨੰਗੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਕੌਣ ਲੜੇ—ਜਾਂ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹੀ ਡਾਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ? ਜਦ ਦੈਤ-ਵੀਰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਤੇ ਡੀਂਗਾਂ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਹੋਣ, ਤਾਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਾਸਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।”
