देवशर्मोवाच । एवं ते वदमानस्य आयुरस्तु शतं समाः । यदशक्यं महत्कर्म कर्तुमिच्छसि मत्कृते
devaśarmovāca | evaṃ te vadamānasya āyurastu śataṃ samāḥ | yadaśakyaṃ mahatkarma kartumicchasi matkṛte
ਦੇਵਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ: ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸੌ ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਯੁ ਹੋਵੇ। ਪਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਅਸੰਭਵ ਜਿਹਾ ਮਹਾਨ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
