तदद्भुतं महद्दृष्ट्वा जगर्जुर्दैत्यसत्तमाः । नैतान्हर्षमदोद्धूतानिदं सेहे जगत्तदा
tadadbhutaṃ mahaddṛṣṭvā jagarjurdaityasattamāḥ | naitānharṣamadoddhūtānidaṃ sehe jagattadā
ਉਹ ਮਹਾਨ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਦੈਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਉੱਚੀ ਗੱਜਣਾ ਲੱਗੇ। ਹਰਖ ਤੇ ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਮਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਸਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਨਾ ਸਕੇ; ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਜਗਤ ਵੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਲਾਸ-ਗਰਜਨਾ ਸਹਿ ਨਾ ਸਕਿਆ।
