दानवान्पुरुषः पापं नालं कर्तुमिति श्रुतिः । स्थाणुभक्तो जन्ममृत्यू नाप्नोतीति श्रुति स्तथा
dānavānpuruṣaḥ pāpaṃ nālaṃ kartumiti śrutiḥ | sthāṇubhakto janmamṛtyū nāpnotīti śruti stathā
ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦਾਨੀ ਪੁਰਖ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਥਾਣੁ (ਸ਼ਿਵ) ਦਾ ਭਗਤ ਜਨਮ ਤੇ ਮੌਤ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਂਦਾ।
