bhagnadaṃtā bhinnakuṃbhāśchinnadīrghamahākarāḥ | gajāḥ śailanibhāḥ peturdharaṇyāṃ rudhirasravāḥ

ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਾਥੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਏ—ਦੰਦ ਟੁੱਟੇ, ਕੁੰਭ-ਸਥਾਨ ਫੱਟੇ, ਲੰਬੀਆਂ ਮਹਾਬਲਵਾਨ ਸੁੰਡਾਂ ਕੱਟੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ—ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਲਹੂ ਵਗਦਾ ਸੀ।
