तारक उवाच । राज्येन बुद्बुदाभेन स्त्रीभिरक्षैश्च पानकैः । मोहितो जन्म लब्ध्वात्र त्यजते पौरुषं नरः
tāraka uvāca | rājyena budbudābhena strībhirakṣaiśca pānakaiḥ | mohito janma labdhvātra tyajate pauruṣaṃ naraḥ
ਤਾਰਕ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ: ‘ਰਾਜ—ਬੁਲਬੁਲੇ ਵਰਗਾ, ਛਣਭੰਗੁਰ—ਇਸ ਨਾਲ, ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ, ਜੂਏ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਮਦਿਰਾ ਨਾਲ ਮੋਹਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ, ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਨਮ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਵੀ, ਸੱਚੇ ਪੌਰੁਸ਼-ਧਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।’
