ब्रह्मोवाच । अलं ते तपसा वत्स मा क्लेशे विस्तरे विश । पुत्रस्ते तारकोनाम भविष्यति महाबलः
brahmovāca | alaṃ te tapasā vatsa mā kleśe vistare viśa | putraste tārakonāma bhaviṣyati mahābalaḥ
ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਬੋਲੇ: “ਵਤਸ, ਤੇਰੀ ਤਪੱਸਿਆ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ; ਲੰਮੇ ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਡੁੱਬ। ਤੇਰਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ‘ਤਾਰਕ’ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਮਹਾਬਲੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।”
