आहारमिच्छन्स्वां भार्यां न ददर्शाश्रमे स्वके । भार्याहीनोऽफलश्चेति स संचिंत्य इतस्ततः
āhāramicchansvāṃ bhāryāṃ na dadarśāśrame svake | bhāryāhīno'phalaśceti sa saṃciṃtya itastataḥ
ਆਹਾਰ ਦੀ ਖੋਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਸ਼ਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਵੇਖਿਆ। ‘ਪਤਨੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਮੈਂ ਨਿਸਫਲ ਹਾਂ’—ਇਉਂ ਸੋਚ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਇਧਰ-ਉਧਰ ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ।
