गया गोदावरी चैव अरुणा वरुणा तथा । एताः पुण्याः शतशोन्या याः काश्चित्सरितो भुवि
gayā godāvarī caiva aruṇā varuṇā tathā | etāḥ puṇyāḥ śataśonyā yāḥ kāścitsarito bhuvi
ਗਯਾ, ਗੋਦਾਵਰੀ, ਅਤੇ ਅਰੁਣਾ ਤੇ ਵਰੁਣਾ ਵੀ; ਇਹ ਸਭ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਦੀਆਂ—ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਸਰਿਤਾਂ ਹਨ—
