ईश्वर उवाच । अजरामरता नास्ति नामरूपभृतोयतः । ममापि देहपातः स्यादवधिं कुरु जीविते
īśvara uvāca | ajarāmaratā nāsti nāmarūpabhṛtoyataḥ | mamāpi dehapātaḥ syādavadhiṃ kuru jīvite
ਈਸ਼ਵਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ: “ਜੋ ਨਾਮ ਤੇ ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਦੇਹਧਾਰੀ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਅਜਰਾ-ਅਮਰਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ। ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਭੀ ਦੇਹ-ਤਿਆਗ ਹੈ; ਇਸ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਸੀਮਾ ਚੁਣ।”
