एवं यत्नात्साध्यमानं स्वकं गार्हस्थ्यमुत्तमम् । गुणाय महते भूयादगुणायाप्यसाधितम्
evaṃ yatnātsādhyamānaṃ svakaṃ gārhasthyamuttamam | guṇāya mahate bhūyādaguṇāyāpyasādhitam
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਯਤਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਵਾਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਆਪਣਾ ਉੱਤਮ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਸਥ ਆਸ਼੍ਰਮ ਮਹਾਨ ਗੁਣ ਦਾ ਸਰੋਤ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ; ਪਰ ਜੇ ਅਸੰਵਾਰਿਆ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਅਵਗੁਣ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਸਰੋਤ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
