Skanda (deduced from Kāśīkhaṇḍa dialogue context)
Tirtha: Hayagrīva Tīrtha
Type: ghat
Scene: A radiant tīrtha with a small shrine where Hayagrīva (horse-headed Viṣṇu) stands or sits holding śaṅkha-cakra; a pilgrim emerges from the water and immediately offers flowers and lamp; palm-leaf manuscripts or a Veda bundle motif nearby to suggest jñāna.
Tīrtha-bathing is completed by devotion: purification through snāna culminates in worship of the presiding deity.
Hayagrīva Tīrtha in Kāśī.
Snāna (bathing) followed by pūjā (worship) of Keśava as Hayagrīva.
