सरिद्वरा निशम्येति रेवा प्राह महेश्वरम् । किं वरेणेह देवेश भृशं तुच्छेन धूर्जटे
saridvarā niśamyeti revā prāha maheśvaram | kiṃ vareṇeha deveśa bhṛśaṃ tucchena dhūrjaṭe
ਇਹ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਸਰਿਤਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਰੇਵਾ ਨੇ ਮਹੇਸ਼ਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ: “ਹੇ ਦੇਵੇਸ਼, ਹੇ ਧੂਰਜਟੇ, ਇੱਥੇ ਐਸੇ ਨਿਹਾਇਤ ਤੁੱਛ ਵਰ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਲਾਭ ਹੈ?”
