ततोपि दुर्लभं काश्यां लिंगं गंगेश्वराभिधम् । यस्य संदर्शनं पुंसां भवेत्पापक्षयाय वै

Transliteration

tatopi durlabhaṃ kāśyāṃ liṃgaṃ gaṃgeśvarābhidham | yasya saṃdarśanaṃ puṃsāṃ bhavetpāpakṣayāya vai

Translation

ਕਾਸ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਵਧ ਦੁਲੱਭ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਲਿੰਗ ਜੋ ‘ਗੰਗੇਸ਼ਵਰ’ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹੈ; ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਕੇਵਲ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਸ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ।
