सृष्टिप्रलय संज्ञौ द्वौ ग्लहौ जयपराजयौ । देवीजये भवेत्सृष्टिरसृष्टिर्धूर्जटेर्जये
sṛṣṭipralaya saṃjñau dvau glahau jayaparājayau | devījaye bhavetsṛṣṭirasṛṣṭirdhūrjaṭerjaye
ਖੇਡ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਦਾਅ ‘ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ’ ਅਤੇ ‘ਪ੍ਰਲਯ’ ਨਾਮ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ—ਇਹੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਤੇ ਹਾਰ ਹਨ। ਦੇਵੀ ਜਿੱਤੇ ਤਾਂ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਉਪਜਦੀ ਹੈ; ਧੂਰਜਟੀ (ਸ਼ਿਵ) ਜਿੱਤੇ ਤਾਂ ਅਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ—ਸੰਹਾਰਕ ਲੀਨਤਾ—ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
