Transliteration

prasannosmi bhṛśaṃ bāla gurvarthakṛtacetasaḥ | guruṇā gurupatnyā ca gurvapatyadvayena ca

Translation

ਹੇ ਬਾਲਕ, ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹਾਂ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੇਰਾ ਚਿੱਤ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਹਿਤ-ਸੇਵਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੈ—ਗੁਰੂ, ਗੁਰੂ-ਪਤਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਆਦਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
