Transliteration

tīrthaṃ hiraṇyagarbhākhyaṃ tadyāmye sarvapāpahṛt | tatra snāto hiraṇyena mucyate na kadācana

Translation

ਦੱਖਣ ਵੱਲ ਹਿਰਣਯਗਰਭ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਤੀਰਥ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਸਭ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉੱਥੇ ਸਨਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ‘ਹਿਰਣਯ’—ਅਰਥਾਤ ਧਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਸਕਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੇੜੀਆਂ—ਨਾਲ ਬੱਝਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
