नृत्यंतु पितरश्चाद्य मोदंतां बांधवाः सुखम् । मृत्युः कालोंऽतको देवाः प्राप्नुवंत्वद्य मे भयम्
nṛtyaṃtu pitaraścādya modaṃtāṃ bāṃdhavāḥ sukham | mṛtyuḥ kāloṃ'tako devāḥ prāpnuvaṃtvadya me bhayam
ਅੱਜ ਪਿਤਰ ਨੱਚਣ, ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਂਧਵ ਸੁਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਣ। ਮ੍ਰਿਤਿਉ, ਕਾਲ, ਅੰਤਕ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਵੀ—ਅੱਜ—ਮੇਰੇ ਭੈ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਣ!
