तस्याः प्रियाया वाक्येन तदपत्यप्रियो गिरिः । उवाच वचनं सास्रमुमा वात्सल्यसन्नगीः

ਆਪਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਦੇ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਦ੍ਰਵਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ, ਸੰਤਾਨ-ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਪਹਾੜ ਨੇ ਅੰਸੂਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਬੋਲਿਆ; ਉਮਾ ਲਈ ਵਾਤਸਲ੍ਯ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਭਰਰਾ ਗਈ।
