Transliteration

khātaṃkhātaṃ ca daṃḍāgrairbhūmiṃ kaṃdādivṛttayaḥ | cakruḥ puṣkariṇīṃ ramyāṃ daṃḍakhātābhidhāṃ mune

Translation

ਦੰਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਸਿਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਰੰਵਾਰ ਖੋਦ ਕੇ, ਕੰਦ-ਮੂਲ ਆਦਿ ਉੱਤੇ ਜੀਊਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਉਹ ਤਪਸਵੀ, ਹੇ ਮੁਨੀ, ‘ਦੰਡਖਾਤਾ’ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਪੁਸ਼ਕਰিণੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲੱਗੇ।
