यमरूपं वर्ण यंति मर्त्यलोकेऽन्यथा जनाः । अन्यथाऽयं मया दृष्टो ब्रूतं तत्कारणं गणौ
yamarūpaṃ varṇa yaṃti martyaloke'nyathā janāḥ | anyathā'yaṃ mayā dṛṣṭo brūtaṃ tatkāraṇaṃ gaṇau
ਮਰਤ ਲੋਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕ ਯਮ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਦਾ ਵਰਣਨ ਹੋਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ; ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ—ਹੇ ਗਣੋ, ਇਸ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਦੱਸੋ।
