इत्थं तस्य महीजानेः सर्वत्र शुचिवर्तिनः । उन्मिषंतोप्यनिमिषा मनाक्छिद्रं न लेभिरे
itthaṃ tasya mahījāneḥ sarvatra śucivartinaḥ | unmiṣaṃtopyanimiṣā manākchidraṃ na lebhire
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ-ਜਨਮੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਚੌਕਸ ਰਖਵਾਲੇ, ਜੋ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਆਚਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਪਲਕ ਝਪਕਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵੀ ਅਨਿਮਿਸ਼ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਤੱਕਦੇ ਰਹੇ; ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਤਾ ਭਰ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਛੇਦ-ਰਾਹ ਨਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ।
