Skanda
Tirtha: Gaṅgā in Kāśī (ghāṭa context implied)
Type: ghat
Scene: At a Kāśī ghat, a woman approaches the river with companions, modestly draped, ignoring a quarrelsome figure spreading contempt; temple bells ring as she performs respectful snāna.
It teaches protective discipline—avoiding corrosive influence and maintaining modesty—as part of dharma.
The teaching occurs within the Kāśī Khaṇḍa’s sacred frame, though no particular ghāṭa or tīrtha is named in this verse.
It mentions bathing conduct (modesty), but not a specific snāna-vidhi tied to a named tīrtha.
