bharjyate karmabījāni yatra viśveśavahninā | ato mahāśmaśānaṃ tadagatīnāṃ parā gatiḥ

Translation

ਉੱਥੇ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵੇਸ਼੍ਵਰ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੀਜ ਭੁੰਨ ਕੇ ਸੜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ; ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਥਾਂ ਮਹਾਸ਼ਮਸ਼ਾਨ ਕਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ—ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਆਸਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਪਰਮ ਗਤੀ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ।
