शोकात्केचिदुरो जघ्नुः शिरो जघ्नुश्च केचन । हा राजपुत्र हा तात क्वासि क्वासीति बभ्रमुः
śokātkeciduro jaghnuḥ śiro jaghnuśca kecana | hā rājaputra hā tāta kvāsi kvāsīti babhramuḥ
ਸ਼ੋਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਛਾਤੀ ਪਿੱਟੀ, ਕੁਝ ਨੇ ਸਿਰ ਮਾਰਿਆ; ‘ਹਾਏ ਰਾਜਕੁਮਾਰ! ਹਾਏ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਬੱਚੇ! ਤੂੰ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਹੈਂ—ਕਿੱਥੇ ਹੈਂ?’ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਭਟਕਦੇ ਫਿਰੇ।
