विषयानभिसंधाय ये कुर्वंति शिवे रतिम् । विषयैर्नाभिभूयंते भुंजानास्तत्फलान्यपि
viṣayānabhisaṃdhāya ye kurvaṃti śive ratim | viṣayairnābhibhūyaṃte bhuṃjānāstatphalānyapi
ਜੋ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਲਾਲਸਾ ਬਿਨਾ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰੀਤੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਇੰਦ੍ਰਿਯ-ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ—ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੇ ਫਲ ਭੋਗਦੇ ਵੀ ਹੋਣ।
