पश्यंति दिविजाः सर्वे विमानस्थाः सकौतुकाः । अथेयमपि चांडाली वसनाशनतृष्णया
paśyaṃti divijāḥ sarve vimānasthāḥ sakautukāḥ | atheyamapi cāṃḍālī vasanāśanatṛṣṇayā
ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਵਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠੇ ਕੌਤੁਕ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਫਿਰ ਇਹ ਚਾਂਡਾਲੀ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਵੀ—ਕੱਪੜੇ ਤੇ ਅੰਨ ਦੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ—ਚਲ ਪਈ।
