देव्युवाच । सोऽस्मत्कथां महापुण्यां कदाचिच्छृणुयाद्यदि । निस्तीर्य दुर्गतिं सर्वामिमं लोकं प्रयास्यति
devyuvāca | so'smatkathāṃ mahāpuṇyāṃ kadācicchṛṇuyādyadi | nistīrya durgatiṃ sarvāmimaṃ lokaṃ prayāsyati
ਦੇਵੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ: “ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਕਦੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਇਸ ਮਹਾ-ਪੁਣ੍ਯਮਈ ਕਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ ਲਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਦੁৰ্গਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਪੁਨੀਤ ਲੋਕ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਏਗਾ।”
