Transliteration

rājovāca | brahmankimeṣa dharmaste kimetadguruśāsanam | asvargyamayaśasyaṃ ca paradārābhimarśanam

Translation

ਰਾਜਾ ਬੋਲੇ: ਹੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ! ਇਹ ਤੇਰਾ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਧਰਮ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਗੁਰੂ-ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਹੈ? ਪਰਾਏ ਦੀ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹਣਾ ਸਵਰਗ-ਮਾਰਗ ਨਹੀਂ—ਇਹ ਅਯਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਕੀਰਤੀ ਹੈ।
