ऋषय ऊचुः । आख्यातं भवता सूत विष्णोर्माहात्म्यमुत्तमम् । समस्ताघहरं पुण्यं समसेन श्रुतं च नः
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | ākhyātaṃ bhavatā sūta viṣṇormāhātmyamuttamam | samastāghaharaṃ puṇyaṃ samasena śrutaṃ ca naḥ
ਰਿਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ: “ਹੇ ਸੂਤ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਣੂ ਦੀ ਉੱਤਮ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਵਰਣਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ—ਜੋ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ—ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਖੇਪ ਸਮੇਤ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੁਣ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।”
