गलितं तेन कपिला वर्णतो नामतोऽभवत् । तथा गन्धरसैर्युक्तं नानापुष्पैस्तु वासितम्

Transliteration

galitaṃ tena kapilā varṇato nāmato'bhavat | tathā gandharasairyuktaṃ nānāpuṣpaistu vāsitam

Translation

ਇਉਂ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਵਹਿ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ, ਰੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ‘ਕਪਿਲਾ’ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਉਹ ਸੁਗੰਧ ਤੇ ਰਸ ਨਾਲ ਯੁਕਤ ਸੀ, ਅਨੇਕ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਾਸਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਹਿਕਦਾ।
