Sūta Gosvāmin (traditional Purāṇic narrator concluding the chapter colophon)
This is a colophon marking the completion of a chapter; spiritually, it frames the preceding narration as sacred Śiva–Pārvatī līlā meant to cultivate devotion (bhakti) and reverence for Śiva-tattva.
Though it does not mention liṅga-worship directly, it situates the narrative within the Rudra Saṃhitā’s Saguna context—Śiva known through divine qualities and līlā—supporting devotional contemplation that complements liṅga-upāsanā.
As a chapter-ending marker, it chiefly suggests śravaṇa (devotional listening/reading) and smaraṇa (remembrance) of Śiva’s sacred narrative; one may conclude recitation with “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and a brief meditation on Śiva as Pati (Lord) granting grace.
