It shows that the Supreme (Paramātman) is not indifferent—Śiva responds to devotion and truth-filled speech, and divine darśana of Śakti’s auspicious form becomes a direct cause of ānanda, strengthening bhakti and inner purity.
Though Śiva is the formless Paramātman, the verse highlights his engagement with form (rūpa) and relational devotion—supporting Saguna worship (including Śiva-liṅga pūjā) as a valid means to experience grace and bliss.
A practical takeaway is to cultivate śravaṇa (reverent listening) and darśana-bhāva—daily Śiva-liṅga worship with the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” focusing the mind on the bliss-bestowing form of Śiva-Śakti.
