Devī’s Wrath and the Manifestation of the Śaktis
devyai saṃdarśayāmāsuḥ sarve harṣasamanvitāḥ | jīvitaṃ tanayaṃ dṛṣṭvā devī hṛṣṭatarābhavat

It highlights the auspicious, compassionate play (līlā) of the Divine Mother: the restoration and sight of life becomes a sign of grace, affirming that divine benevolence dispels fear and sorrow for devoted beings.
Though the verse narrates a family-līlā, it points to Saguna worship where devotees approach Shiva and Shakti as compassionate, responsive deities; such narratives cultivate loving devotion that supports deeper contemplation of Shiva’s supreme reality.
A practical takeaway is gratitude-filled bhakti: offer simple worship and japa of the Panchākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” remembering Shiva-Shakti as protectors who restore auspiciousness (śiva) in life.
