Agni kindled as Hotṛ: invoking the gods, securing wealth, and protecting the sacrifice
दधन्वे वा यदीमनु वोचद्ब्रह्मेति वेरु तत् परि विश्वानि काव्या नेमिश्चक्रमिवाभुवत्

ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਗਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ‘ਬ੍ਰਹਮ’ (ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਉਚਾਰ) ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਉਚਾਰਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ; ਫਿਰ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕਾਵ੍ਯ-ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਰਚਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਉਂ ਘੇਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਚੱਕਰ ਦੀ ਨੇਮੀ ਚੱਕਰ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
