आत्मा यज्ञस्य रंह्या सुष्वाणः पवते सुतः । प्रत्नं नि पाति काव्यम् ॥
Transliteration
ātmā́ yajñásya raṃhyā́ suṣvāṇáḥ pavate sutáḥ | pratnáṃ ní pāti kā́vyam ||
Translation
ਯਜ्ञ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਬਣ ਕੇ, ਤੇਜ਼ ਗਤੀ ਵਾਲਾ—ਸੁਸਵਾਣ (ਸੁਪ੍ਰੈਸਿਤ) ਸੋਮ—ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਵਗਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਅੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ ਕਾਵ੍ਯ (ਕਾਵ੍ਯਮ੍), ਰਿਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਦੀਵੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ, ਨੂੰ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
