पवमानो असिष्यदद्रक्षांस्यपजङ्घनत् । प्रत्नवद्रोचयन्रुचः ॥
Transliteration
pavámāno asisyadat rakṣā́ṃsy apa-jaṅghanat | pratná-vad rocáyan rúcaḥ ||
Translation
ਪਵਮਾਨ (ਸੋਮ) ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਅੱਗੇ ਧਾਵਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਧਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਜਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ; ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ ਵਾਂਗ ਉਹ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਦਹਕਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
